The Versatile Blogger Award…

Thanks go to Blaga for nominating me for the Versatile Blogger Award.  According to the Rules, to accept the award, I need to:

  • Thank the person who awarded you and link back to them in your post.
  • Tell 7 Random facts about yourself.
  • Pass the award on to 15 new found bloggers.
  • Contact each blogger you want to pass the award on to and let them know you’ve done so, and let the giver of your award know you accept it.

Thank you again very much, Blaga!! I was so surprised and it made me smile.

 

Seven random things about me:

1. I’ve been hang-gliding and it was one of the best experiences of my life!

2. I would love to swim with sharks.

3. If I could be any animal, I would be a dragon. Huh? What do you mean they aren’t real?

4. As a Gen-Xer (child of the 80’s), I make tons of connections and references in my life to movies and T.V. shows…a lot of the time, people don’t ‘get’ them, but that’s okay. 🙂

5. I regularly play World of Warcraft online.

6. I’ve been to Europe (France, Switzerland and Germany) and would dearly love to return and see Ireland and Scotland next time.

7. My ferret, Taz, was my favorite pet I ever had.

Regarding the blog name, Dragon’s Dreams ~ The name comes from my love-affairs with both Dragons and Dreams (capital Ds). It’s another extension of who I am, a facet for expression; a place and way to reach other like-minded, creative individuals. I post poetry and images that fascinate or move me, because that’s my favorite way to view the world. I post about things important to me and the world in which we live, try to champion extra important political, societal and environmental issues, etc. Sometimes I wax philosophical, because it’s also a place where I always seem to learn about myself, too, by interacting with some of the brightest minds, souls and hearts out there. It’s all about ‘connection(s)’ and I don’t mean “net-working” with people for personal gain, but rather, the expansion of the 4 L’s: Light, Love, Laughter, Learning.

      You definitely deserve it!! I didn’t mean to nominate people who had been nominated before, but just went with some of the bloggers I enjoy the most from Jingle. Yes, it is wonderful to be read and appreciated for your talent! 🙂
